EARTH FUEGO : Sculptors Ximena Elgueda and Steven Ward work together to build "Plazas" of ceramic installations and earth works that speak communally, culturally, environmentally, and beyond the walls of the studio / gallery / museum, and into the hands and lives of the people.

Like two rivers converging to form a great current, so have Steven and Ximena over the years found that working and sharing life and clay, has enriched, inspired, and evolved them. Spiced by their distinctly different upbringings, and drawing upon their present experiences, the medium has become their common language.

アース・フエゴ：彫刻家ヒメナ・エルゲーラとスティーブン・ウォードは文化的に、環境的に共有し話せる陶芸施設とアースワークの「広場」を設立しました。それは人々の手と生命をつなぐ、スタジオやギャラリーやミュージアムの壁を超えた空間です。

二本の川が収束して広大な川の流れになるように、スティーブンとヒメナは長年にわたって生活と粘土を分け合い、共に制作することで豊かになり、刺激され、進展するということがわかりました。彼らの全く違う生い立ちがスパイスとなり、現在の経験を作り出し、共に制作した空間が彼らの共通の言葉となりました。
